And I don't know how I'm supposed to feel
When all I do doesn't seem to amount to anything.
I hold my breath and hope that I'll be given some resolve
For all the trials I've been put through in this life.
I've grown so tired of chasing ghosts that never amount to anything more than hunger and desperation.
I've watched men sink.
But understand, I'm not done.
And I've spent countless hours trying to make some sense
Of where I am, of where I'm supposed to be.
And after countless nights where I'm left dreaming of somewhere better than this,
I hope that one day I'll find my place.
I've grown so tired of chasing ghosts that never amount to anything more than hunger and desperation.
I've watched men sink.
But understand, I've come too far.
